Loss Control Engineer

We are looking for an experienced loss control professional to join our engineering staff.  The primary responsibility will be to conduct property loss control inspections of industrial facilities. 

Additional duties include generating loss control and potential loss evaluation reports, reviewing new construction and providing fire protection advice. Fire code evaluations and negotiations of code alternatives and variances are also done as needed.  Overnight travel, throughout the U.S, is scheduled primarily at the discretion of each engineer and will range from 20% to 40% per month.

This position requires a B.S. degree from an accredited engineering program, or equivalent experience, along with 3+ years of fire protection and/or loss control experience.  Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.  Compensation commensurate with education and experience.
